Academy pays last respects to Njoku
Earlystart Weekend Football Academy, a
three-year-old youth and community development initiative of Godwin
Dudu-Orumen has shifted its 2011 season opening date by one week as a
mark of respect for its first Head Coach/Technical Director, Gideon
Njoku, who died on Tuesday, January 11.
Njoku was a member of Nigeria’s
All-African Games 1973 Football event gold medal winning team. He also
was Chief Coach of ACB Football Club Lagos.
